Privacy policy
Your spaces stay on your device.
Scope and contact
This policy covers the Spatia iOS app and spatia.gacing.com. The developer is GaCing (JIACHENG GUO). Effective October 9, 2026. Privacy questions: spatia@gacing.com.
Capture and local processing
Camera images, LiDAR depth, motion tracking, scene maps, 3D results and keyframe photographs are stored on your device for reconstruction, viewing and resumed capture. Depth assistance also runs locally. The app has no account, advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDK, and does not automatically upload these scans to the developer.
Permissions and optional location
The camera supports capture; motion and pressure readings support local tracking and relative height. Optional location and height permissions are requested when you enable those features. Stored location may include coordinates, altitude, time and accuracy estimates. Scanning works without location permission. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Storage, deletion, backups and sharing
Scenes remain locally until you delete them. Deleting a scene removes its associated capture files; exported copies must be deleted separately. System backups, file sharing and third-party services you select operate according to your device settings and those services’ policies. Scene geometry itself may reveal private places, so review exports before sharing.
Website and feedback
The website uses no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Its server processes network information needed to deliver pages, such as IP addresses and request paths. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and attachments to handle your request. Please avoid passwords, unrelated personal information or private scans shared without consent. Contact us to request deletion of feedback correspondence.
Children and updates
This is not a service specifically designed for children. Obtain appropriate permission before capturing people or private spaces. Material policy changes will be reflected in the effective date; any new data uses will be explained with the relevant feature.
